The Field of Habilitation and Inaugural Proceedings in Social Psychology and Work Psychology is defined in terms of content by the study, explanation, influence and prognostic assessment of the psyche, psychological processes and states of man, as well as subhuman organisms, especially the behavior and experience of a person or a group of people using relevant psychological methods, techniques and procedures corresponding to the current knowledge of psychological sciences and the state of economic and social practice, while also relying on knowledge of related sciences, namely philosophy, anthropology, human biology, neuroscience, mathematics and pedagogy.

The Social Psychology and Work Psychology Department is defined in terms of content by psychological scientific disciplines, such as cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, personality psychology, social psychology, psychological research methodology, theory of psychodiagnostics and psychometry, clinical and counseling psychology, work and organizational psychology, as well as pedagogical and school psychology.
